About BIFMA

BIFMA stands for Association for Business and Institutional Manufacturers. BIFMA is the not‐for-profit trade association for business and institutional furniture manufacturers formed with the purpose of creating voluntary standards that would promote safe working environments. BIFMA standards are applied to institutional and business furnishings and also lobbies for legislation that will continue to make office furniture safer for workers and consumers.
